WHAT IS A DIETITIAN?
A dietitian or Registered Dietitian is a nutrition expert with advanced education and training who provides education and recommendations to individuals and communities regarding food and nutrient requirements to achieve optimal health. Registered Dietitians have a minimum of a bachelors degree in Nutrition/Dietetics and have complete a minimum of 800-1200 hours of supervised practice in the field of nutrition become becoming licensed to practice.
WILL MY HEALTH INSURANCE COVER MY SESSIONS?
AS I Am Nutrition is an in-network provider with Oscar Health Insurance & Aetna Insurance (commercial plans).

Other forms of health insurance are not currently accepted. Out of pocket payments are accepted at this time. AS I Am is continuously working on becoming an in-network provider for major insurance companies. A superbill can be provided to submit to your insurance company if they are out of network. Reimbursement rates vary depending on the company.
As I Am Nutrition can help you navigate the Superbill process so do not hesitate to reach out!
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DOES AS I AM NUTRITION TAKE?
Credit or debit card payments are accepted. FSA/HSA accounts may also be accepted depending on the company.
CAN I SCHEDULE IN-PERSON APPOINTMENTS?
No, As I Am Nutrition only offers virtual appointments at this time.
HOW MUCH DOES A SESSION COST?
A free 15-minute discovery call is provided to all inquiring and new clients. This call is used for you to ask any questions you have about the process and get to know the philosophy and what sessions entail. Following a discovery call, you will schedule an Initial Assessment appointment. Weekly or bi-weekly sessions will follow. Pricing is as follows:

Virtual Sessions:
Virtual Initial Assessment: $145 per assessment
Virtual Follow-up Sessions: $110 per session​
